Maddox Anodes Not Suitable
Maddox Anodes are not suitable for protecting high-potential materials such as
aluminium from galvanic corrosion. Please select the recommended anode material
shown below or contact Marine Protection Systems for technical advice.
Important — Coating Protection Limit
Fibreglass vessels with Shaft or IPS drives are recommended to achieve cathodic protection
no greater than -750mV for coating longevity and best efficiencies.
Exceeding this level risks paint blistering and premature coating failure.

Some anode combinations may cause overprotection, which can damage certain vessel
materials or coatings. Ensure all connected anodes are compatible before installation.
If you're unsure, consult a corrosion specialist.
